Ap 3:04pm BST (1/4/22) Après avoir dévoilé sa date de sortie il y a peu, découvrez l'ultime bande-annonce pour la saison 2 de Pacific Rim: The Black qui sera diffusée le 19 avril Les Kaiju et les Jaegers seront très bientôt de retour, mais cette fois sur Netflix qui a donné un nouvel aperçu de sa série Pacific Rim The Black. Si le réalisateur Guillermo del Toro, à qui on doit le premier Pacific Rim et ses grosses bébêtes qui se battent contre des gros robots, a récemment douché les espoirs des fans en confirmant qu'aucun troisième volet n'était dans les plans de Legendary Pictures, les Kaiju et les Jaegers ne vont pas se tenir loin des écrans pour autant. Comme Netflix aime bien désacraliser tout ce qui lui tombe entre les griffes et exploiter les franchises autant que possible, après Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 et Jurassic World La Colo du Crétacé, le géant du streaming s'est attaqué à un spin-off animé de la saga. Une série dans la lignée de ses nombreux projets d'animation gravitant autour de grosses franchises, comme les séries Resident Evil Infinite Darkness, Tomb Raider, King Kong, mais aussi Sonic. Ça va mettre des patates aux Kaiju Après avoir dévoilé de premières images en octobre dernier, Netflix a cette fois dévoilé un premier teaser, mais surtout la date de sortie, calée au 4 mars prochain, soit quelques jours avant la sortie en salles et sur HBO Max de Godzilla vs. Kong en France, on ne sait pas encore. Ce qui devrait réveiller l'intérêt du public pour les combats de gros monstres, encore plus quand del Toro imaginait il y a peu une fusion des deux univers pour des bastons toujours plus jubilatoires. À défaut de montrer des Kaiju et des Jaegers, le teaser donne un meilleur aperçu d'Haley et Taylor, les deux nouveaux personnages principaux. Sans grande originalité, il s'agit d'un adolescent un peu trop idéaliste et de sa soeur un peu trop naïve, qui se lancent à la recherche de leurs parents disparus à bord d'un Jaeger apparemment abandonné et trouvé dans le désert. Tout ça en croisant quelques Kaiju pas contents qu'ils devront terrasser avant de se faire aplatir. Évidemment, la série de Craig Kyle co-scénariste de Thor Ragnarok et Greg Johnson la série animée X-Men Evolution est une fois de plus animée en 3D, ce qui est devenu une norme sur la plateforme.
